Administrative IT Assistant – Hours Negotiable (part-time an option)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our IT Team. Working for a Top 100 company, you will be responsible for assisting the team with various duties, providing company-wide support across all branches to ensure the company’s aims and objectives are achieved. Hours within the role are negotiable as this could suit part-time hours.  


CRM Superuser 

  • You will undertake internal training to become a superuser on our CRM database RDB 
  • This will enable you to support users with a wide variety of support issues/requests relating to RDB (the CRM database) 
  • You will work with the Database Administrator who will support you with more in-depth queries and requests. 

 General Support 

  • You will be trained to understand all company IT processes 
  • Assist users with general IT issues, resolving if possible but more importantly directing the user to the correct internal or external resource to assist them further 
  • Develop use of the existing underutilised ticketing system 
  • Create and maintain IT Asset Register 
  • Monitor and allocate job board licences 

We are currently migrating to a new version of our CRM database, you will be required to offer a higher level of support in the early days of this role to assist users in becoming confident in the use of this system. Once this initial period has settled the position will be more evenly split between support and administrative tasks. 



  • Good basic understanding of Windows (i.e. installing and removing programs, running updates) 
  • Confidence in using IT systems and online portals (after training if required) 
  • Good understanding of MS Office applications 
  • Experience of working with a wide range of people 
  • Ability to exercise discretion in relation to systems and processes 
  • Ability to work independently  


  • Experience of supporting other users 
  • Experience of the Recruitment Industry 
  • Experience of RDB
