After weeks of vigorous planning and coordinating, the first week of April saw the first McGinley Academy welcome 22 both current and new employees for a fun packed week of training.

Throughout the week, the McGinley Trainees explored the ’360 recruitment consultant role’ and gained knowledge as to how to become a ‘McGinley Legend’.  Session topics covered a number of areas including: planning, building a resourceful candidate database, self presentation, and sales. All sessions included a range of activities such as group discussions and role plays.

Mid-week saw the attendees undertaking role plays and delivering presentations to the Management Team.  Training Specialist Grant Henderson commented, “They all got stuck in which was key to the success of the activities”.

The Academy attendees also had good things to say about their first training block of the Academy: “After just one week of training I have already made some important positive changes with how I work … It has impacted my general organisation, KPIs, and more than that it has had an impact on how I develop lasting relationships with client and candidates”.

The training programme continues with Trainees graduating in the summer.
